Uruguay beat Canada in a friendly 2-0 at the Tehelni Boli stadium in Bratislava, Slovakia.
And Nicolas de la Cruz and Darwin Nunez scored the Uruguayan double in the first half.
Uruguay coach Diego Alonso pushed Nunez and Luis Suarez into the attack line from the start.
De la Cruz opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a superb free kick, scoring his second international goal.
Before Nunez added the second goal with a header in the 33rd minute after a wonderful cross from Suarez.
Nunez scored his third international goal and his first for Uruguay since November 2020.
Uruguay reconciled its fans after losing to Iran a few days ago in the first friendly match of the current international break.
On the other hand, Canada lost after winning the previous friendly match against Qatar.
