The Turkish national football team has advanced to the second division, in the group stage of the UEFA Nations League, in the next edition.

This is after he secured his lead in the first group standings, in the third division of the group stage, after his exciting 3-3 draw with his guest, Luxembourg, today, Thursday.

And that was in the fifth (penultimate) round of the group, which also saw Lithuania draw 1-1 with its guest the Faroe Islands.

The Turkish team needed to win only a draw point, to ensure the top of the group, and then climb to the second division of the tournament, as it strengthened its position at the top of the group with 13 points, 5 points ahead of its closest rivals, Luxembourg, with one round remaining at the end of the competitions.

At the famous Basaksehir Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, the match between Turkey and Luxembourg was characterized by excitement and rivalry from the first moments, as the guests scored early in the ninth minute, through Marvin Martinez in the ninth minute.

The Turkish team equalized through Cengiz Onder, in the 19th minute, through a penalty kick.

But the Luxembourg team returned to progress again, through its player, Daniel Sinai, in the 37th minute.

And soon Turkey returned to the equalizer, with a goal that came through friendly fire, scored by Maxime Chano, defender of the Luxembourg national team, by mistake in his team\’s goal, in the 39th minute.

The excitement continued in the second half, as Luxembourg advanced again through Gerson Rodriguez, in the 69th minute, but the Turkish team scored the equalizing goal, through Ismail Yuksek in the 87th minute.
