The semi-final draw of the King’s Cup resulted in a new Clasico between the giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Today, Monday, the draw ceremony for the semi-finals of the King’s Cup took place at the headquarters of the Spanish Federation in the capital, Madrid.
Four teams are qualified for the semi-finals: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, and Osasuna.
The results of the lottery were as follows:
Osasuna – Athletic Bilbao
Real Madrid – Barcelona
And the newspaper “Sport” revealed the date of the El Clasico confrontation between Real Madrid and Barcelona in the semi-finals.
The first leg will be on March 1 in the Santiago Bernabeu, and the second leg will be on April 5, in the Blaugrana’s Spotify Camp Nou.
It is noteworthy that Barcelona qualified for this round of the King’s Cup after winning with a clean goal over Real Sociedad in the quarter-finals, while Real Madrid reached that stage after its exciting victory over its neighbor Atletico Madrid, 3/1.
