Milan vs Inter Highlights
Inter won a broad victory over its arch-rivals Milan, with three clean goals, in the match that brought them together at King Fahd International Stadium, to crown the Nerazzurri champion of the Italian Super Cup.
Inter scored its three goals through Federico Dimarco (10), Edin Dzeko (21), and Lautaro Martinez (77).
The beginning of the match witnessed several mistakes in front of the two teams’ goal, so Inter got in the first seconds a fixed kick from in front of the area, which Calhangulu hit the wall, then a free kick for Milan two minutes later from the right, which was dispersed by the Nerazzurri defense.
And in the seventh minute, Dzeko received a ball from halfway through the field to kick off and fire a powerful shot, but it passed far from the goal.
The real start came in the 10th minute, via Federico DeMarco, the left wing of the Nerazzurri, after a quick counterattack that started with Hakan’s pass to Dzeko, who passed a ball deep into Milan’s defense to Barella, so that the latter passed the ball to the far left side to find Dimarco and put it in the net.
Milan almost equalized in the 17th minute, after a wonderful pass from Ibrahim Diaz, from which Rafael Leao launched on the left side and penetrated the area, to fire a shot towards the net, which Inter goalkeeper Onana shone to turn into a corner.
In the 21st minute, Edin Dzeko managed to score the second goal for Inter, after a longitudinal pass from Bastoni hit Milan’s defense again and reached Dzeko, who brilliantly passed from the left side of Tonali, to fire a perfect shot to the left of the goalkeeper Tatarusano into the net.
Inter’s offensive flood continued on Milan’s goal, and the Nerazzurri almost increased its share of goals and set the third goal had it not been for goalkeeper Tatarusano, who saved his own goal in the 28th minute after a corner kick that was met by Achirbi with a shot that the goalkeeper pushed away.
Tatarusano returned to shine and save his net again from a goal, after a ball reached Dimarco outside the area so that the latter fired an intercontinental missile which the Milan goalkeeper shone, to fist it away from the goal.
In the 42nd minute, Tonali tried to pass inside the area and hit the ball, but Hakan succeeded in intercepting it with a decisive intervention, to bounce back and reach Tomori on the borders of the area, and the Milan defender fired a ground shot with his left foot and passed next to the left post of the Inter goal.
In the last seconds of the first half, Lautaro missed the opportunity to score the third goal, after a quick rebound after Theo Hernandez lost the ball, so Mkhitaryan launched the ball and passed between the Milan defenders a wonderful ball that Lautaro failed to receive, as it passed in front of him outside the area.
In the first minute of the second half, Milan tried to score early to reduce the score, after Theo Hernandez received a ball outside the area to fire a powerful shot with his left, but it passed higher than the goal.
Liao returned with a new dangerous opportunity for Milan after a quick counterattack that reached Diaz, who passed it to the Portuguese wing, to try to penetrate and fire a missile shot from the border of the area that passed higher than the goal.
Lautaro was within brackets or less than doubling the score for Inter after a cross from Darmian on the right side passed to Lautaro in front of the goal. The striker failed to take advantage of it well to hit a weak ball, but defender Simon Caer succeeded in intercepting the ball.
Milan remained dependent on the shooting weapon, and in the 67th minute Liao penetrated in the same way to fire a powerful shot from outside the area, but it reached the middle of the goal into the arms of goalkeeper Onana.
And from a corner kick obtained by Inter, it ran short to Lautaro, who passed a ball across the field to Skriniar, who fired a missile shot from a distance, which was blocked by Tatarusano.
Lautaro Martinez finished the match with a third goal in the 77th minute, after a free kick from the middle of the field, executed by Skriniar with a long ball. Lautaro managed to rotate well with the Milan Tomori defender, put the defender in his back, penetrate the area, and wonderfully hit the ball into the net.
Milan almost scored the first goal in the 90 + 2 minute, after an accidental ball was passed by Ante Rebic to deceive everyone, pass towards the goal, hit the crossbar, and pass outside the goal.
